Don’t miss the sounds of life – Get your hearing aid expertly fit at Ridgewood Hearing Center.

Our Glen Rock / Ridgewood hearing aid center offers a wide selection of hearing aids and we will tell you which we feel is best for your unique situation and taking into account your preferences, we will then select the best device for you. With the wide range of technology and the host of features available today, it’s important to deal with a hearing aid center and audiologist that have the experience necessary to make your choice and fitting a success. Hear the difference that better technology and better service bring to you.

There are many types and brands of hearing aids. Receiver in canal units are small, discreet, and perfect for many first-time hearing aid wearers. Behind the ear units are for moderate to severe hearing loss and come with the benefit of having no hard-to-use buttons or dials. Completely in the ear canal hearing aids are virtually undetectable. Invisible in the canal aids are completely invisible in most ears and designed especially for first-time hearing aid wearers.

fitstyleBasic hearing aids usually require some manual adjustments such as turning a volume control up or down, or pushing a button to change listening programs. More advanced hearing aids respond automatically to changes in the listener’s environment, and make alterations based on signals being detected. As the level of the technology increases in hearing aids, so do the availability of advanced features.

Once you have chosen your hearing aids and based on a prescription, our hearing professional will program them to meet your needs.  We will explain how to use the device, how to put it in the ear and how to remove it, how to change batteries and how to care for it and how to clean the device.  We recommend that you bring a family member or close friend to the fitting so they can help remember all the important information that is given to you.

We offer a wide variety of devices to help people overcome the frustrations associated with hearing loss. We also offer hearing aid checks, cleanings and hearing aid repairs.

Scheduling is quick and easy, and we offer the precision fitting that comes when you use the services of experienced audiologists.
